Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will likely have to wait until after the Arizona Cardinals’ Super Bowl LI win to see his team win the title.
But that won’t stop Palmer from going on the record to say the Cardinals have a chance to do it.
The Cardinals’ win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night was the first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history for Palmer.
But even if the Cardinals get there in the end, Palmer is not happy with his team’s performance in a game where they trailed for much of the game and didn’t win a touchdown.
He told reporters after the game he had a hard time watching the team play.
“You can see why you’re upset about it.
It’s not what we want to see,” Palmer said.
“You want to win, and we just didn’t do that tonight.”
I’m really disappointed in this team right now.
I’m disappointed with this team, but that’s how it is.
It just feels like we’ve just got to work hard every single day and we’ll get it done.
“Palmer said the Cardinals should have made a big play on a late field goal to give them a chance at the win.
But they were able to convert that kick, and Palmer didn’t give the offense credit for it.”
We were going to get the ball. “
That was a long touchdown.
We were going to get the ball.
We had a chance, but they had a field goal that made it 3-1.”
