Auburn Football’s quarterback gets ‘A’ in a state paper

The Auburn Tigers were ranked No. 4 in the nation last season, but that didn’t stop quarterback Jake Browning from making headlines when he won the Heisman Trophy in January.

Brock Osweiler won the starting job and started all 13 games, but the offense was a mess.

Browning was the best quarterback in the country.

But now Browning has received the award, and the Tigers quarterback will receive an honorary title, the Montgomery Advertiser reports.

Buckeyes QB Teddy Bridgewater will receive the “A” in the state paper.

He is the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham is also getting the “B” in an honorary award.

Seth Andrews and Marcus Allen are getting the honor in the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The award comes as no surprise to anybody who has followed the Crimson Tide football program.

Buccaneers WR Quincy Wilson is also receiving the “C” in honor of the team’s nickname.

He’s also receiving a “B”, according to ESPN.
