UAB football’s first-ever game in a new stadium will kick off on Oct. 15, 2019, and kickoff in UAB Stadium.

The game is the second time the Bulldogs and Eagles have met this season.
Both were homecoming games in 2019.
It marks UAB’s third straight game against a ranked opponent, and it’s the second-most of any FBS team this season after the Cougars and Aggies.
The Eagles and UAB have played two previous games at UAB.
In 2017, UAB beat UAB in a thrilling game in UAH Stadium and UAH defeated UAB last year in an epic game in Alamodome.
The Eagles also defeated the Crimson Tide at UAH in 2018.UAB has not played at home since the 2019 season.
The UAB Football Club announced that the game will be played in UAN Stadium in 2019 after an upgrade to the stadium.
Uab coach Mark Dantonio said in his pregame remarks that the Eagles will “get a lot out of the first game.”UAB head coach Mark Richt said the game has always been about UAB being “the toughest team to play,” and UAN is the best venue in the state.
UAB has won three straight games at the Alamodox since joining the SEC in 2019, which is the longest winning streak in the conference.
The two teams will be playing in the final regular season game of the 2019 regular season, with the Eagles hosting UAB on Oct 14, 2019.
The first-round bye is guaranteed.
The 2019 season is the last in the Big South Conference, which was previously the Conference USA Conference, before it split with the Big 12 in the fall of 2020.
The new conference is now known as the Big Ten.
